Marlborough

Marlborough is a very diverse region with many activities to explore; on the sea there is kayaking, scenic boat tours, fishing and dolphin swimming. On the land; cycling, native forest walks – one of the main ones being the Queen Charlotte Track, discover more about Maori history which still has a strong presence in the area.

Marlborough countryside is blessed with striking beauty, and the region offers some of the most beautiful scenery New Zealand has to offer. The Sounds offer some popular holiday spots, as well as unpopulated  and pristine bays to explore.

Marlborough is also the largest wine growing region in New Zealand with nearly 70 wineries. The region is most famous for its Sauvignon Blanc but other varietels grown are: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Reisling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Methode Champonoir are now becoming well established.
